CPH Group

CPH is an internationally active industrial group, headquartered in Switzerland. It is specialized in the production and distribution of chemicals, paper and pharmaceutical packaging films. The group maintains production sites in Switzerland, Germany, Ireland and the USA.

CPH has a tradition of successful industrial activities spanning nearly 200 years.

The chemistry division is based on the oldest, still activ Swiss chemicals producer dating back to 1818, the paper division was founded in 1873. CPH's shares have been listed on the Swiss Stock Market's SIX local caps exchange since 2001.

Chemicals

The Chemistry Division includes Fine- and Silicate Chemicals.
Fine Chemistry is specialized in developing and manufacturing of organic chemicals for the pharmaceutical industry based on chemical and biotechnological synthesis processes.

Silicate Chemistry is one of the leading suppliers of molecular sieves (zeolites) and silica gels for industrial applications, as well as premium chromatography gels for the pharmaceutical industry.

Paper

After the startup of PM 7, the Paper division is the largest producer of newsprint paper and the only manufacturer  of magazine paper in Switzerland.

Local raw material, recovered waste paper from houshold collections and wood chips from saw mills are used for the most part of the paper production.

Packaging

As a comprehensive supplier the packaging division provides a complete product palette ranging from pure, rigid PVC mono films and PVdC coated and/or PE laminated films with very high moisture barrier used for blister packs in the pharmaceutical industry.

Perlen Packaging is specialized in the pharmaceutical industry and is the second largest supplier of laminated films worldwide.
